As part of The Heart Of Frida concert event, The performers and producers are available for teaching  masterclasses and student workshops. Starr has taught masterclasses in both composition and production techniques for both stage and studio. Along with her production and composition partner, Jeff Eden Fair, Starr has presented masterclasses at many wonderful institutions including The University Of Southern California, Interlochen, University Of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and Humbolt State University.

As a highly successful composer for television, film trailers, film and live orchestral shows Starr's knowledge of composition, production and musical storytelling and her vast experience as groundbreaking woman in a male dominated  business makes for a very interesting class filled with many colorful stories and professional anecdotes.
